FLINT FUNDERS COLLABORATIVE

The Flint Funders Collaborative (FFC) is an innovative creation of four major philanthropies in mid-Michigan:  The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Ruth Mott Foundation, Community Foundation of Greater Flint and the United Way of Genesee County.  The FFC exists to support the BEST Project, a comprehensive capacity building project to strengthen the effectiveness of key nonprofits in Genesee County.  The Collaborative is bound by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that ensures funding and leadership for the BEST Project will continue for the foreseeable future.  FFC members serve as an advisory board to BEST contact staff; they are involved with staff management, program development and community outreach.  Additional information about members of the FFC can be found at their respective websites.  For more information about the formation and structure of the FFC please refer to the BEST Project Guide.
