Consulting Summary Robin approaches nonprofit consulting as a thoughtful, dynamic and intentional journey built on three anchors: Mission: What is your mission? Is it considered in every organizational decision? Is there right balance within the organization to achieve your mission? Movement: Beyond "strategic planning" we will build a strategic VISION and build adaptive capacity. Our goal is to prepare your organization to succeed in a world in flux. Message: Change and progress should be discussed openly, honestly and thoughtfully or it becomes a barrier rather than an opportunity. There is a story to be told and you need to tell it.
Professional Summary My experience within the nonprofit sector has generally focused on widely applicable systems and practices rather than in a specific sub-sector. I began my nonprofit career in youth service and volunteerism and I have worked quite a bit with asset-based models including America's Promise and Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets. Additionally I have extensive experience with Principles & Practices for Nonprofit Excellence (MNA), Nonprofit Lifecycles (Stevens), and Strategic Thinking (LaPiana).
