Consulting Summary My approach to marketing consists of three sequential steps. First, a good marketer identifies points of differentiation. I call this ?creating a yellow tree in a green woods.? Next, marketing involves pinpointing the target audience, and identifying the best channel(s) for reaching those targets. And finally?only when these two elements are complete?does marketing deliver tactics (brochures, presentations, ads, etc.) that convey the message. These three steps form the backbone of an intensely collaborative process. Through it, I become part of the client?s business, and the client links their marketing investment all the way through the sales channel to achieve results.
Professional Summary A creative, results-oriented leader with over sixteen years of experience in a variety of business disciplines. I have highly developed skills in concept development, strategic thinking, team building, training and implementation for activities within distribution channels, client audiences and professional service providers. I held increasingly responsible positions in communications, marketing, business development and consulting in the office furniture industry before starting my own consulting firm. I?m now a self-employed business owner with a diversified consulting clientele in a variety of industries.
